چکیده
The lateral stability control of the vehicle can avoid serious traffic accidents when it had a tire blowout during operation. This article proposes robust nonlinear method for controlling after blowout. To be exact, seven degree freedom dynamic model with modified Dugoff is established. yaw moment performed by differential braking once occurring. As strategy, taking linear two as reference, using deviation rate and side angle between actual value reference controller input parameters, fractional calculus theory utilized which was investigated regulating brake improving its stability. results computer simulation show that design PID more effectively enhance performance compared non control, no matter in straight road or curve road.

Tire-road friction estimation and traction control strategy for motorized electric vehicle
In this paper, an optimal longitudinal slip ratio system for real-time identification of electric vehicle (EV) with motored wheels is proposed based on the adhesion between tire and road surface. First and foremost, the optimal longitudinal slip rate torque control can be identified in real time by calculating the derivative and slip rate of the adhesion coefficient. Secondly, the vehicle speed...

In this paper, the consequences of filled volume on the transient lateral dynamic and stabilities boundaries displacement of an articulated vehicle carrying liquid is investigated. First, a sixteen-degrees-of-freedom nonlinear dynamic model of an articulated vehicle is developed then, using TruckSim software the model is validated. Next, the dynamic interaction of the fluid cargo with the vehic...

This document deals with the controlled system of lateral vehicle dynamics regulated in terms of a reference model outputs. The reference model means a simplified mathematical vehicle model, which describes the desired lateral movements of a vehicle. The output of the reference model produces the most optimal trajectory in various driving conditions. The target of the control strategy is to hol...
متن کاملEstimation of Tire-Road Friction by Tire Rotational Vibration Model
Tire-road friction is the most important piece of information used by active safety systems. However, most conventional friction estimation/ detection methods are accurate only within the non-linear region. In addition, such methods require numerous sensors, such as yaw rate sensors, acceleration sensors, and steering angle sensors. In this paper, a friction estimation method using a tire vibra...
متن کاملA Robust Lateral Vehicle Dynamics Control
The paper addresses the robust design of a lateral stability controller for ground vehicles. Nonlinear vehicle dynamics are modeled by an approximate hybrid piecewise–affine model. Control of the vehicle yaw rate and lateral velocity of the center of gravity is achieved through steering and four wheels independent braking. Uncertainty in actuation is explicitly taken into account by introducing...
